STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Consequences over violations related to the demolition of a 127-year-old New Brighton home won’t be known until at least January, the Advance/SILive.com learned.
At a May 20 hearing, representatives for the Department of Buildings requested an adjournment to Jan. 12, 2027. The request was made so their inspector can provide testimony in relation to the violations issued to Steadfast Construction LLC over its demolition of 203 Franklin Ave., according to an adjournment order from the Office of Administration Trials and Hearings.
An attorney listed on the adjournment order for Steadfast Construction, which owns the property, did not respond to a request for comment by the time of publication. Prior attempts to reach the property owner have been unsuccessful. Future plans for the site have yet to be made clear…
