CHICAGO — Felony charges have been filed against a Bellwood man accused of fatally shooting another man on the West Side back in July.
Chicago police say 32-year-old Lavonne Glenn, a Bellwood resident, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of murder with strong probability of death or injury and one count of aggravated assault involving the discharge of a firearm.

The charges stem from Glenn’s alleged involvement in a shooting officers say unfolded in the 600 block of North Latrobe Avenue in Austin on July 5.
During the incident, officers said Glenn allegedly shot and killed a 31-year-old man.
It remains unclear what led to the shooting.
