LUCAMA — A Durham man died after colliding with a passing CSX train on Main Street on Saturday, Aug. 8.
North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper Kenneth Grady said the call was initiated between 12:20 and 12:30 p.m.
“As far as we can tell, a train was coming through. Several train cars had already come through the intersection,” Grady said. “A blue passenger car never stopped and ran into the side of the train and spun out away from the train down towards a building and came to rest.”…
