CLEARWATER, Fla. — A driver was taken to the hospital by helicopter late Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a pond off North Hercules Avenue.
Clearwater Fire & Rescue units responded at approximately 11:50 a.m. to the scene at 1915 N. Hercules Ave., where they found a motor vehicle at rest in a body of water adjacent to a building. First responders noted that the driver was no longer inside the vehicle when crews arrived.
Bayflite airlifted the patient to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Authorities reported the individual was in serious but stable condition…
