DUNN, N.C. (WNCN) — Days after a deadly shooting at a Dunn bar, the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission has suspended the establishment’s license, and new details about that night have been revealed in the suspension document.
The NC ABC Commission issued its summary suspension against the 601 Bar in Dunn on Friday, with the document laying out allegations that the bar has a history of violent incidents that have occurred at the bar.

Some, including the shooting from Aug. 1, spilled out into the street and even impacted people living across the street from the bar, according to the suspension order.
