MARRERO, La. (WVUE) – A 44-year-old Marrero woman was killed late Friday night (Aug. 7) in a single-vehicle crash along Barataria Boulevard, Louisiana State Police said.
The victim was identified as Joleen Walls.
An LSP spokesman said Walls was driving a 2006 Toyota 4Runner south on Louisiana Hwy. 45 (Barataria Boulevard) near College Parkway when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway into drainage ditch…
