(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A call came in from a man stating that he had assaulted his girlfriend on Saturday, Aug. 8, and when officers responded, they found a man in a car with an injured nose and two stab wounds, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD stated that just after midnight on Saturday, officers responded to the 1700 block of Kallos Loop, near East Fountain Boulevard and South Murray Boulevard, after receiving the call from the man claiming he had assaulted his girlfriend. When officers found him in the car with an injured nose, he was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had two stab wounds.
According to CSPD, officers were not able to meet with the girlfriend to determine how the stab wounds happened, but when the Domestic Violence/Adult Sexual Assault (DVASA) unit took over the investigation, they learned that a disturbance occured on Kallos Loop, in which the man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and her sister after the sister had tried to stop his violent actions…
