A dog was reportedly attacked and taken by an alligator Saturday while a woman was walking it near the Kenner lakefront, according to police.
Kenner police said the woman reported she was walking her dog near the Gabriel Pumping Station when the alligator attacked and took the dog into the water, the department said in a Facebook post.
