NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A free 5K walk/run at Park Circle is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15, to raise awareness for autism and inclusion.
Coach DA’s annual event will run from 8 a.m. to noon, starting at the Park Circle Playground. The entrance to Park Circle will close at 7:30 a.m.
The community effort supports neurodivergent children and young adults with autism. Families will be able to explore helpful resources, enjoy inclusive activities, and share in friendly fun with door prizes and lighthearted competitions…
