Downtown Huntsville bar reopens after drunk driving suspect crashes into it

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A popular downtown Huntsville bar is back open after a suspected drunk driver crashed through its storefront last week.

Miller’s Tavern is now reopened as crews continue to repair damage caused by a pickup truck crashing through the front of the business.

Police arrested 30-year-old Alan Manon after officers said he crashed into the bar on Washington Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, then hit another downtown building on Monroe Street. He was charged with DUI…
