RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond’s beloved Carytown Watermelon Festival returned to Cary Street for its 44th year on Sunday.
The 44th Carytown Watermelon Festival returned to Richmond’s Cary Street on Sunday, Aug. 9, with attendees enjoying fresh fruit, food from local vendors, watermelon-themed festivities, a kids zone and a beer garden.
The one-day festival was held along Cary Street from the entrance of Carytown to Byrd Theatre, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
