Construction is set to begin soon on a project to repave Cougar and Junction drives in Glen Carbon after a public meeting was Aug. 6 for residents to learn more.
About 10 people attended the meeting at the Glen Carbon Senior Center. Jeff Reis, a project manager with TWM; Scott Slemer, Glen Carbon public works director; and Dan Walker, of Keller Construction, attended the meeting and spoke about the project.
“You will be inconvenienced — it’s short term, once we’re in there,” Slemer said. “This should provided a good, solid road for years and years to come.”…
