At 4:41 p.m., a 72-year-old driver was traveling north on U.S. 85 near mile marker 35 when he braked while approaching a turning motorcycle in front of him. The driver lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from it. He was taken to Monument Health in Spearfish and died from his injuries…
