Clark County strike team returns home after 5 days supporting Ely on Ward Fire

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Firefighters who were sent to assist with the Ward Fire have been demobilized and returned home after spending five days supporting the City of Ely and preparing for the possibility that the fire could threaten the community.

As containment on the fire increased, the risk to the community was reduced, allowing the Strike Team to be released from the incident.
