LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the Las Vegas valley Sunday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas issued the warning until 3 p.m. Sunday. At 2:10 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located over Green Valley and moving north at 15 mph.

NWS said winds will hit up to 60 mph and residents can expect possible damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
The impacted area includes Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, Green Valley, Sam Boyd Stadium, The Strip, Fremont Street, East Las Vegas, Anthem, Enterprise, Southern Highlands, Spring Valley, Harry Reid International Airport, Silverado Ranch, Allegiant Stadium, Seven Hills, UNLV and Stratosphere Tower…
