PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A wind-driven fire that destroyed a mobile home and threatened nearby houses forced 18 people to evacuate near Lebanon, officials said. Firefighters spent hours battling flames in steep, brush-covered terrain.
On Saturday at around 2:38 p.m., the Lebanon Fire District said they responded to a mobile home fire report near Hilltop Drive. Officials said the risk of the fire spreading was higher due to dry weather conditions.
