Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractors will close Lafayette Road in South Christian County at the Lover’s Lane intersection this week to begin the first phase of the intersection reconstruction.
Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett says they realize the closure will cause some traffic detours for drivers who normally use Kentucky 107 and Kentucky 1613, but it is needed to allow construction of the new intersection to begin.
