Lawnmowers broke the early morning silence, as maintenance workers made their way onto the greens of the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course hours before the first customers arrived on a recent Tuesday.
With trimmings twice a month, and workers rolling the greens at least three times a week, the town’s municipal golf course is playing better than it has in decades, said Tony Chateauvert, who manages the oceanfront facility on the South End.
