Arson investigation leads to arrest after Southeast DC apartment fire

WASHINGTON (7News) — An apartment fire that broke out in Southeast D.C. on August 6 is being investigated as arson, according to authorities.

The D.C. Fire and EMS Arson Investigation Unit said its investigation into the fire at 3500 Minnesota Avenue led to the arrest of an individual who has since been charged with arson.
