Stow homeowners invited to meet with county appraisers after value hike

STOW, Ohio — Stow residents concerned about sharp increases in their property values can meet with Summit County appraisers Tuesday as city officials grapple with rising housing costs and property taxes.

County appraisers will be at Stow City Hall Council Chambers, 3760 Darrow Road, from noon to 8 p.m. Residents can ask questions about their new property valuations or dispute them, Mayor John Pribonic said during City Council’s Thursday meeting.

“If you do have concerns about your property valuation or thinking it’s too high or something’s not right, please show up for this,” Pribonic said. “They are here for that reason.”…
