70 MPH Winds, Possible Tornadoes Possible In DMV As Storms Ground Flights At Major Airports

Mother Nature came out swinging Monday afternoon.

Violent thunderstorms packing winds up to 70 mph tore across Maryland on Aug. 10, bringing warnings of falling trees, flying debris, blocked roads and power outages as forecasters cautioned that tornadoes could develop quickly.
