Bird strike forces Charlotte-bound flight to return to Myrtle Beach airport

An American Airlines flight headed to Charlotte made a safe return to Myrtle Beach on Monday after a bird strike shortly after takeoff.

No injuries were reported among the 172 passengers on board.
