Charlotte Motor Speedway creating nine-day car celebration by separating two existing spring festivals

CONCORD, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — Charlotte Motor Speedway is creating a more-than week-long car celebration next spring with the expansion two existing events.

Beginning in April 2027, the speedway will host Charlotte Auto Week — a nine-day celebration of car culture that stretches from grassroots classics and American muscle to the world’s most coveted collector automobiles. It’s bookended by the Charlotte AutoFair and Smith Hendrick Heritage Invitational.

For four years, Charlotte AutoFair and the Smith Hendrick Heritage Invitational have shared the same weekend.
