GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Residents who feed deer, raccoons, geese and other wildlife could face new restrictions under legislation Garfield Heights City Council will consider Monday night.
Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Among the items on the agenda is an ordinance that would expand the city’s existing rules governing the feeding of stray dogs and cats to include wildlife.
Under the proposal, people would be prohibited from putting out food for deer, geese, ducks, raccoons, fowl, or other wildlife on public property or within 150 yards of a private residence or public roadway…
