St. Petersburg coffee company Kahwa moves into larger headquarters

Kahwa Coffee has moved its corporate headquarters into a 24,742-square-foot industrial property in St. Petersburg and renovated the space.

The coffee roaster and café chain’s new office is at 4001 35th St. N. and also serves as its roasting operation, production space and training center. Kahwa previously worked out of a 14,000-square-foot office space on 44th Avenue in the city.

Colliers, which represented the landlord, Legacy Capital Partners, in the leasing and announced the move, says work on the space was extensive. It included new flooring and paint; construction of a separation wall with windows between the production and office areas; installation of additional roll-up doors; propane infrastructure for roasting equipment; and a replica café used for employee training and coffee education classes…
