Redstone Arsenal bid farewell to retiring commanding general of Army Materiel Command, Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan, who relinquished command and retired during a ceremony Friday at AMC headquarters.
Mohan served as senior commander for the Arsenal at a time when the installation was announced as headquarters for U.S. Space Command, and the FBI expanded its presence there. The Arsenal is the state’s largest employer with a workforce of about 45,000.
