LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A dog found injured on the street is suspected to have been involved in illegal dog fighting, according to police, who are now looking for the animal’s owner.
The Manheim Township Police Department is asking the public for help gathering more information about the “Pit Bull-type dog,” which was abandoned in an alley along North Market Street between McGovern Avenue and Liberty Street.
Officers said they found the dog Saturday. He was wrapped in a blanket and had multiple deep wounds and “apparent bite injuries” that required medical attention…
