Driver charged in N.J. crash that left woman dead, five others injured, investigators say

A 21-year-old Clifton man faces multiple charges including aggravated manslaughter following a multi-vehicle Hudson County crash that killed a North Bergen woman in May, authorities said.

Mahmoud Khalifa was arrested Monday by members of the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus, according to a statement from the office. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
