RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Severe storms rolled through Central Virginia Monday evening, causing damage throughout the area — and 8News viewers captured some of that damage on camera.
On Monday, Aug. 10, severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain and high-speed wind gusts to Central Virginia, taking down trees and power lines across the region. Chesterfield County was hit particularly hard, with trees falling into homes and lightning strikes sparking fires.
