(WFXR)- Appalachian Power (APCo) is reporting more than 20,000 homes and businesses without power as severe storms roll though the area on Monday, August 10.
As of 5:30 p.m., more than 3,000 APCo customers are without electricity in Bedford County. There are more than 3,000 without power in Roanoke City and nearly 2,000 without power in Roanoke County. There are outages reported in Franklin County as well.
