A 4-month-old infant was seriously injured in a late-night two-vehicle crash Aug. 9 in Prince George County.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m. at the intersection of state Route 10 and Ruffin Road, just east of Hopewell, county police said. According to initial reports, a Dodge Charger was westbound on Route 10 and turning left onto Ruffin Road when it was struck by an eastbound minivan.
The baby, who was a passenger in the minivan, suffered a head injury and was unconscious when an EMS crew arrived. The child was airlifted to VCU Medical Center in Richmond for further treatment…
