Common Grounds Coffee by TCU closed its doors, but the ministry that meets there every Sunday will remain.
Common Grounds was founded by a Baylor graduate in 1994 across the street from the school’s campus in Waco. The Fort Worth location opened in the thick of the pandemic in 2020 at 3110 Greene Ave., in a building owned by Christ Chapel Bible Church.
Customers were sad to hear about the coffee shop’s departure, noting they will miss owner Trey Lumley and the Cowboy Coffee made with the shop’s “secret sauce.”…
