Cypress Woman Arrested on Hit-and-Run, Terroristic Threat Warrants, Constable Says

CYPRESS, Texas – A Cypress woman wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants was arrested Sunday after deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office located her at a residence in northwest Harris County.

According to the Constable’s Office, deputies responded on Sunday, Aug. 9, to the 14200 block of Mueschke Road to execute a felony arrest warrant for Juanita McGarr, 32.

Deputies located McGarr and confirmed she had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

Mother Struck in Crosswalk

Authorities said the warrant stems from an incident in which McGarr allegedly struck a mother who was walking through a marked crosswalk while pushing a shopping cart carrying her young children…
