Tulsa Police dumpster dive looking for firearms

A Tulsa Police Officer had to wade through a Mexican restaurant’s dumpster after a teen was arrested for firearm possession, and police thought an additional firearm could have been thrown in a dumpster.

Just after midnight Saturday, Officers responded to a call about minors with guns at a party near East 21st Street and Garnett Road. Officers said they saw a group of teens, ages 14 to 16, and they ran down an alleyway but were caught.

A 16-year-old admitted to having a pistol, and he was arrested and taken to the Community Intervention Center for Minor in Possession of a Firearm…
