(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Guthrie’s has opened its first Colorado location in Colorado Springs, bringing its chicken fingers and family-owned tradition to the Centennial State.
Tanner Guthrie, owner and family member, recently joined FOX21’s Krista Witiak and Justin Antweil on Loving Living Local to talk about Guthrie’s Colorado debut and what customers can expect from the family-owned restaurant.
Founded in Alabama in 1965, Guthrie’s has grown to more than 70 locations across the country. The Guthrie family chose Colorado Springs for its first Colorado restaurant not only because of the city’s growing population and strong military community, but also because the family has always loved visiting Colorado. Opening a location here gives them more of a reason to spend time in a place they already enjoy—and, as Tanner put it, a few more excuses to come back.
The new location is at 1520 S. Nevada Ave. and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m…
