Lane County nonprofit tackles feral cat population with benefit sale

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – The Paws and Whiskers Society held a weekend-long benefit sale to raise money for its spay-and-neuter services.

The nonprofit sold goods and raffle tickets from Thursday through Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Cottage Grove. The organization also accepted donations of pet food during the sale. All proceeds will help fund financial assistance vouchers. These vouchers provide spay-and-neuter services for Lane County pet owners and feral animal populations.
