A man reported missing to Phoenix police was located after he was seen waving down traffic on Interstate 17 near Stoneman Lake, about 100 miles north of the Valley.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said troopers responded on Aug. 5 to the area of I-17 that’s located east of Sedona. DPS made contact with a man who reported having been out in the wilderness for about five days. The man apparently had not eaten and only drank from water in nearby creeks, DPS said…
