CORVALLIS, Ore. — Highway 99W south of Smith Loop in Corvallis was shut down in both directions Tuesday afternoon after a semi-truck carrying hay overturned, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office reported the closure at 2:10 p.m., saying the crash involved an overturned semi with hay bales. Cleanup was expected to take about two hours.
