EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – An East Cleveland woman says she lost two cars in a single week after her vehicle was stolen from her workplace parking lot and her replacement car was vandalized less than 24 hours after she bought it.
Judi McNeely, an employee at PharoPLAST on Eddy Road, said her Kia was stolen from the company parking lot on Tuesday, July 28, after she finished her shift.
“I punched out, walked out. Like I said, the parking lot is not that big. It’s hard to miss a car? I park in the same spot. I’m looking for my car. I guess I was just in shock, not expecting somebody to be that bold and steal my car right out from my work parking lot,” McNeely said.
Replacement car vandalized within days
The stolen Kia was recovered days later, completely totaled. By Friday, McNeely had purchased a new car. When she drove it to work on Tuesday, Aug. 4, her supervisor heard her car alarm around 7 a.m. and found her window smashed. Her supervisor’s window was also shattered…
