(BCN) — Mountain View firefighters stopped a fire from spreading into businesses at a Grant Road shopping center Monday morning.
Crews responded to the 1300 block of Grant Road after a 911 call at about 9:30 a.m. reported flames coming from an exterior structure attached to a building, according to the Mountain View Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived and found flames in an enclosure behind the building used to store utility meters and dumpsters. Crews extinguished the fire before it reached the businesses inside, the Fire Department said.
