Sudden shutdown catches employees and customers off guard
On Aug. 3, 2026, Orlando-based Gringos Locos permanently closed all four of its locations after 17 years in business. According to local reports, employees arrived for scheduled shifts only to find the restaurants closed, while customers learned of the shutdown through social media and locked doors.
