NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A child was hospitalized Saturday following a shooting at a residence at Fort Eustis, according to the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division.
Thomas B. Hamilton III, a public affairs officer with the Army Criminal Investigation Division in Quantico, confirmed an “incident” involving the discharge of a firearm. The child is expected to make a full recovery.
