Former worker sues SDG&E over alleged hazing and assault

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A former employee is suing San Diego Gas & Electric for allegedly failing to intervene in hazing and harassment he says he experienced while training and working as a line assistant for the utility company.

In the lawsuit obtained by FOX 5/KUSI, Beckett Bowers’s attorneys allege that he frequently experienced being called homophobic epithets, sexualized threats, assault and harassment, forcing him to quit and leaving him with lasting physical and mental scars.
