TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Residents on the 800 block of Mason Street say an overgrown property across from their homes has gone unaddressed for months, despite repeated calls to the city.
Toledo city code requires grass and weeds to be kept below 8 inches. Weeds at the property in question have grown several feet high, hanging over the sidewalk and encroaching into the adjacent yard.
Neighbor frustrated by lack of action
Carol Dutton, who lives across the street, said the property has not been mowed in approximately four to five months.
“Nobody has cut the grass in I would say four or five months. And with the rain and that, it has become terrible looking,” Dutton said…
