Several weeks ago, we were proud to stand next to Attorney General Liz Murrill and present her with the Home Defense Foundation’s Hero of Home Defense Award. We present that award very sparingly, and only to public figures who have shown courage while fighting for the rights of taxpayers and law-abiding citizens.
As proud as we were on that day, we were doubly proud of the attorney general when she requested an investigation of the shameful and dishonest conduct exhibited by the New Orleans politicians who thought she should be imprisoned for enforcing laws passed by the state Legislature.
Talk about “lawfare” and improper use of government power! The conduct of those New Orleans politicians takes the cake. The AG is correct to say that their disgraceful and illegal conduct must be punished…
