At a construction site along the Midtown Greenway in south Minneapolis, a model for affordable, sustainable housing is being built.
The sounds of high-pressure nail guns and hammers working away on 10 new townhomes in the Phillips neighborhood was quickly silenced when architect and passive house consultant Elizabeth Turner shut the thick, air-tight door of one unit.
