Eugene driver cited for DUII reckless driving after fence crash

EUGENE, Ore. – A driver crashed through a fence on North Terry Street and was cited for driving under the influence on Saturday, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said that officers responded to the crash near the 1600 block of North Terry Street on Aug. 8. Officers found a silver Saturn sedan with front-end damage after it went through a fence. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Luis Antonio Blancoparra, was not hurt in the crash. Officers determined Blancoparra had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
