Three wildfires — the Old Trails, Fairview, and Autumn Lane fires — have burned more than 8,000 acres and destroyed at least 700 structures in the Spokane area.
Over the weekend, around 2,000 firefighters from more than 20 states and 100 jurisdictions were in Spokane and Stevens County to help with firefighting and recovery efforts.
