An e-bike rider somehow survived a violent crash after being struck by a hit-and-run driver speeding through a Santa Ana intersection Monday night.
The crash was reported around 10:15 p.m. at West Warner Avenue and South Raitt Street.
Video provided to KTLA by Andrea Mendoza shows the e-bike rider waiting at the intersection to cross Warner Avenue. When the light changes, the rider begins crossing as a sedan appears to run a red light and strike him from the side.
