POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 10:29pm on August 10th after reports of a bomb threat at Niagara Falls State Park on Goat Island.
Police at Niagara Falls State Park advised that they had “just took a possible swatting bomb threat call at Goat Island and asked for assistance. Specifically, cars were requested to start “pushing people [away from the area].” They also asked if there were additional K9 units that could be called in to assist in searching for the purported bomb. Dispatch advised that the Niagara County Sheriff K9 unit was sent to assist.
A massive police presence responded to the scene. It is not believed a bomb was located. No further information is available at this time…
